The backbone of Houston Metallurgical Laboratory, Inc. is its well-equipped Mechanical Test Lab. As shown in the photographs, there are numerous testing machines. These include:
  • Two large universal tensional compression testers
  • Two Charpy impact testers and a refrigerated Charpy bath
  • Two standard eight-scale Rockwell hardness testers
  • Dead-weight Brinell tester
